The 2024 South Florida LGBTQ Philanthropy Awards by Our Fund is scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 3, 2024. Our Fund is the 2nd largest legacy LGBTQ+ foundation in the world. Sponsored by Bank of America, this will be the 5th installment of the annual awards. It will celebrate outstanding philanthropists who give their time, talent, and treasure to the South Florida LGBTQ+ community. Honorees and guests will enjoy a cocktail reception in the lower courtyard before the ceremony in the Mary Porter Riverview Ballroom of Broward Center for The Performing Arts. The reception will begin at 5.30 PM, followed by Award Presentation, and Post-Reception. The awardees include Michael Kalb, Philanthropist of the Year; Niki Lopez, Commitment to a Cause Award; FLoatarama, Next Generation of Philanthropy Award; Larry Hyer, Dick Schwarz Award for Lifetime Achievement. This event creates a dramatic statement in the LGBTQ+ community. Our Fund demonstrates, through the Philanthropy Awards, the great value of thinking about LGBTQ+ community support through legacy giving.
