Schartt$ Creek: Honeymoon In Wilton Manors by Jamie Morris plays tonight through March 3 at Empire Stage Theater. The show debuted in 2022 and was extended twice, playing to sold-out houses all summer long in Provincetown. The Miami Beach Orchid Society invites everyone to join them for their first meeting of the year today from 6:30-8pm! Their speaker is Aaron R. Milanese (PhD Candidate). He will be giving an overview of Orchid Root Anatomy and Mycorrhizal Symbiosis and will also talk about propagation techniques from seed on gel. Aaron’s expertise is roots and the microbes that live on them. The Miami Beach Orchid Society meets on the 4th Wednesday of every month at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden and topics vary from month to month. Dues for membership are $25 per year.

The City of Wilton Manors invites everyone in the community to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Thunderbunny, a permanent public art installation, at 12:30pm in Justin Flippen Park (2109 Wilton Drive, Wilton Manors). Artist Hunt Slonem, who created the monumental mosaic sculpture, will be in attendance to help cut the ribbon and officially welcome Thunderbunny to the City. Thunderbunny is one of over two dozen public art installations in Wilton Manors, with more planned in the coming year as part of the City’s public art plan.
