After a hiatus, “Dancing with the South Florida Stars” makes a triumphant return, now benefiting the city of Wilton Manors through Stonewall Pride. The event, set at “The Manor,” is scheduled for May 13. It features a cocktail party with a silent auction, a VIP red carpet event with a meet and greet, a three-course dinner, and the main show. VIP tables for 10 are available for community members at $1000, while general admission is set at $20. Corrie Boyd takes the helm as the show director for this most awaited event. Founders Bobby Blair and Brian Neal present the show with The Manor Nightclub. The competition’s judges include luminaries like Gary Santis, Robbie Leslie, Alan Beck, Debbie Burke, and Hotspots Happening Out’s Al Ferguson. The legendary Poizon Ivy will host the show. But the red carpet will be hosted by Shawn Palacious and me. Teams competing in the show include Jessica & Danny of Scandals Nightclub. A fabulous pairing includes Sunserve Executive Director Tony Lima teaming up with legendary drag queen Velvet Lenore. Other fun dancers include Jennifer & Patrick from Tropics & Stoli, Rolly & Alyson from HOTspots Happening Out, and Sasha & Frank from Alibi & Drynk. there will be a special team from Out & Advocate Magazine and stay tuned for more secret team announcements yet to come.
