Gay actor Kevin Spacey faces accusations of sexual assault from nine more men who are featured in the documentary “Spacey Unmasked,” which premiered today. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the accusers claim that the purported assaults spanned five decades, from Spacey’s high school years to the peak of his career, predating the initial allegations of multiple sexual assaults against him in October 2017. Spacey has not been convicted of sexual assault in any U.S. or U.K. court. In the documentary, one of the individuals who made allegations was an aspiring actor. He claimed that Spacey masturbated in front of him in a public theater and then moved his hand toward his groin to assist. Another accusation was made by an ex-marine who stated that Spacey “forced himself” onto him at a party that actor Bruce Willis had thrown. The majority of individuals featured in the documentary assert that Spacey offered them help in advancing their careers, only to subsequently demand “sexual favors.” Some individuals mentioned they chose not to publicly accuse Spacey at the time of the alleged assaults because Spacey was still in the closet, and such allegations would have involuntarily outed him. In response to the documentary, Spacey shared a post on Twitter, saying, “I will not sit back and be attacked by a dying network’s one-sided ‘documentary’ about me in their desperate attempt for ratings.”
