A dream two years in the making is finally coming true in Wilton Manors. Plays Of Wilton is launching its first-ever POW in the Park production with A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, a free outdoor musical event at Mickel Park, starting March 7th. Thanks to a $100,000 donation from the Warten Foundation and support from the City of Wilton Manors, this Stephen Sondheim classic will be open to all.
The POW team said, “We are living in polarizing times, so now let’s come together and share an evening of laughs, songs, and great storytelling.” The production stars four-time Carbonell Award-winning actress Lourelene Snedeker as Pseudolus.
