An evocative new exhibit, Roosters Rising: A Legacy of Pride and Resilience, opens June 2 at the Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum in West Palm Beach. Running through June 30 (closed Sundays), the exhibit, presented by the Historical Society of Palm Beach County, chronicles the vibrant history of H.G. Roosters, a beloved gay club operating since the 1940s.
The community is invited to a free opening reception on June 4, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Roosters itself—located at 823 Belvedere Road—followed by a lively after-party for guests aged 21 and up. Admission is free, and more information is available at pbchistory.org. Queer News Tonight is celebrating 30 Days of Pride by promoting dazzling 16 events in the LGBTQ community. So stay tuned.
