This fall, Transinclusive Group will host a series of powerful community events across South Florida. On October 18, the LGBTQIA+ Pride N’ Play Adult Field Day will bring fun and friendly competition to Wilton Manors with spades, Jenga, Connect 4, tug-of-war, and relay races, where winning teams will take home $200 per game. On November 5, the State of the Transgender Community panel will take place at Artserve, Fort Lauderdale, uniting advocates, leaders, and community members to reflect on 2025 and strategize for the future.
On November 13, the 11th Annual Bishop S.F. Makalani Mahee Transgender Equality Awards will be held at the Center for Spiritual Living, Oakland Park, honoring advocates and organizations advancing transgender equality. You can submit the nominations by October 5. On November 20, the Transgender Day of Remembrance will be hosted at The Pride Center at Equality Park, Wilton Manors, commemorating lives lost to violence. Founded in 2017, Transinclusive Group advocates to protect and defend equality for all transgender and LGBTQ+ individuals in South Florida by building trust with community providers to end discrimination, stigma, and racial disparities.
