As a proud Latina—Colombian, loud, loving, and unafraid, I’m watching everything happening right now… ICE fears, war headlines, uncertainty everywhere… and I’m like, excuse me?? Women are STILL out here holding it all together. ALWAYS. Let’s be clear, women have ALWAYS been the most marginalized and the first to be impacted. The first to be silenced. The first to be dismissed. And yet somehow… the last to be protected. Look at the patterns, look at the headlines—Jeffrey Epstein, Hugo Chávez, Donald Trump, Harvey Weinstein… I mean, I can go ON.

Different stories, same reality—women fighting to be heard, believed, and safe. And in OUR community, this divide between lesbians and trans women? I don’t understand it, I don’t support it, and I don’t have time for it. It’s causing confusion. It’s giving a distraction. It’s giving NOT TODAY. I support ZERO TERF energy. Period. I don’t care if what’s between our legs match! We rise together or not at all. And YES—trans women are women. Full stop. So here’s what we’re gonna do instead of arguing—we’re gonna SHOW UP: Trans Day of Visibility on March 31, 6–8:30 PM at The Pride Center.

Wilton Women’s Week — April 24–May 3, with events all week long. Trans Day of Visibility March 27, 6:30–8:30 PM at the Stonewall Museum, presented by Mary its Mary Productions. Because visibility matters. Unity matters more. And on The FayWhat?! Show, we’re gonna keep saying it LOUD—women are powerful, women are diverse, and women are NOT up for debate.
