Production on the upcoming Tomb Raider series from Amazon MGM Studios has paused after star Sophie Turner suffered a minor injury. The studio told Deadline: “Sophie Turner recently experienced a minor injury…As a precaution, production has briefly paused to allow her time to recover. We look forward to resuming production as soon as possible.”
Filming is expected to halt for two weeks, though some reports suggest delays could extend up to six months. Crew members are reportedly still being paid. Turner plays Lara Croft, a figure widely embraced as a queer icon for her strength and unconventional persona.
