Eurovision has announced its first-ever Asia edition, Eurovision Song Contest Asia, set to host a live grand final in Bangkok on November 14, 2026. Ten confirmed countries are: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Nepal, the Philippines, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam, with more expected to join. Rules for the competition have not yet been released. The event has a strong LGBTQ+ fan base and is organized by the European Broadcasting Union alongside Voxovation and S2O Productions, with Thailand’s Channel 3 participating.
