I’m honored to attend the Champions of Equality Gala on Saturday, May 2 at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel, representing TransEd alongside Franchesca D’Amore, our Founding President and Executive Director. As a founding board member, this evening is especially meaningful to me. The event begins with a 6:00 PM reception, followed by dinner and awards at 7:30 PM, and an after-party at 10:00 PM.
This gala is more than a celebration—it’s a call to action, bringing together advocates committed to protecting and advancing LGBTQ+ equality across South Florida. This year’s honorees include Joe Falk – Civic & Political Leadership; Nicole Henry – Entertainer, Advocate & Ally; Carol Coombes – Community Advocate.
