First published in 2020, Boyfriend Material follows Luc O’Donnelly, the son of 1980s rock stars, and his unexpected romance with barrister Oliver Blackwood. It is the first in the London’s Calling series, with Husband Material following in 2022, and Father Material completing the trilogy this June. The book gained huge traction on TikTok’s “BookTok” community after its debut. Casting speculation is already underway, with Louis Partridge and Richard Madden among fan picks.
