Enrollment is now open for August classes at Acceptance Academy Community School. The Middle School is a first-of-its-kind private institution specifically designed for LGBTQ+ youth and victims of bullying.
In a climate where Florida’s restrictive education laws have left many queer students feeling isolated, this academy is prioritizing safety and mental health. The mission is simple: create an environment where students don’t have to trade their identity for an education. As the first bells ring this fall, Acceptance Academy hopes to prove that when students feel safe to be themselves, they don’t just survive—they thrive.
