Philip, an Antiguan-American model and musician with quadriplegic cerebral palsy, first broke barriers in 2018 as the first Black, transgender and physically disabled model signed to a major modeling agency. She later became the first wheelchair user to walk for a major luxury fashion brand during Moschino’s spring/summer 2022 show. This year, she attended the gala wearing a design by Louise Linderoth, a disabled designer and wheelchair user.
