Three people are dead after a shooting near the Montreal headquarters of Pornhub’s parent company, Aylo. Authorities say a police officer, a civilian, and the suspected gunman were killed in the incident that happened in the city’s Côte-des-Neiges (Coaht day Nejes) neighborhood. A second officer was injured and remains in stable condition. While police have not officially identified the suspect, multiple Canadian media outlets and the Associated Press named him as 25-year-old Seth Scott Hatfield of Lethbridge, Alberta.
Police have not confirmed a motive but are examining a 104-page manifesto reportedly containing misogynistic “incel” ideology that calls for violence against multiple targets, and references to pornography companies.
