AHF’s “We The People” takes place on the eve of America’s 250th, where they will be marching in downtown Fort Lauderdale (400 SW 2nd Street, Fort Lauderdale,), and they are inviting everyone to march with them. This year alone, Florida tried to cut off HIV medication for more than 12,000 people, watched rents climb out of reach, and passed new barriers to the ballot box. When people organized, some of it was reversed. That is the whole point. When we show up together, things change. We the People is a march, rally, and free outdoor concert in downtown Fort Lauderdale, built by a coalition of 40 organizations across the state. We’re standing up for affordable healthcare, a cost-of-living people can keep up with, the right to vote, and a fairer Florida for everyone. Doors open at 5:30pm and the program starts at 6pm, followed by the march and live concert. It takes one minute to sign up: https://wtpmarch.org/rsvp/ When you RSVP, check the “I’m with an organization” box and select [your org] from the dropdown, so we’re counted together. Bring your family, bring a friend, and let’s show what we look like when we stand together.
