Streaming service Peacock has ordered a reboot of “Queer As Folk” straight-to-series, and it’s currently in its pre-production stages. The series has been described as “a vibrant reimagining of the groundbreaking British series created by Russell T. Davies, exploring a diverse group of friends in New Orleans whose lives are transformed in the aftermath of a tragedy.” Stephen Dunn, the mind behind Closet Monster, will direct the project.
