Ruby Rose says she was hospitalized after a fall into her swimming pool left her with two broken ribs. The 40-year-old shared video of the accident on social media, showing herself slipping while walking along the pool’s edge with a hose before striking her ribs. Alongside the clip, Rose wrote: “RIP to my ribs, and the rest of my summer…They are broken, multiple. Straight to hospital, did not pass go or collect $200.” Rose previously suffered a serious injury while filming Batwoman in 2019 and has remained a prominent queer figure through roles including Orange Is the New Black.
