Say You Love Satan a play about the date from hell..

Say You Love Satan a play about the date from hell is playing at the Rising Action Theater (840 E Oakland Park Blvd Fort Lauderdale). What if your perfect new boyfriend turned out to be Satan? Late one rainy night in Baltimore, Andrew meets a handsome stranger named Jack. The two hit it off and start dating despite the fact that Andrew already has a super-duper boyfriend and that Jack has the mark of the beast–666–burned into his forehead. Against the advice of his gal pal Bernadette, Andrew continues to date Jack and walk on the wild side. Written by one of the most exciting young playwrights today, Roberto Aguire Sacasa, who saw five of his new plays produced between 2006 through 2008 at major U.S. Theatres: Based on a Totally True Story, at the Manhattan Theatre Club, Good Boys and True (at Second Stage), The Velvet Sky  at the Woolly Mammoth Theatre, King of Sorrows (Working Theatre) and Dark Matters at the Rattlestick Theatre. He is also the author The Muckle Man, which earned two Helen Hayes Award nominations, including The Charles MacArthur Award for Best New Play: and a graduate of the Yale School of Drama. Additionally, Roberto proudly writes The Fantastic Four and Spider-Man for Marvel Comics and is developing Dark Matters into a horror screenplay for Warner Brothers. It features Stefan Pinto (TV: Burn Notice, Theatre: Escorts) as Jack, Ricardo Rodriquez (Some Men, Most Fabulous Story Ever Told) as Andrew, Emily Ocheltree (Most Fabulous  Story, Last Hairdresser) as Bernadette, Brandon St. John (Last Hairdresser, 11 O” clock Number) Mark Porter as the Angel and a special Satanic Mystery Actor. It is directed by Jerry Jensen who has directed for Public Theatre, Main Street Players, Curtain Call and Boca Raton Theatre Guild.
