Erasure Concert in GaYbor

You could feel the excitement in the air as everybody started to get ready for the Erasure concert at the Ritz Ybor. The Erasure Tomorrow’s World Tour is the first Erasure (Andy Bell and Vince Clarke) tour in America in 5 years. The tour will make 24 stops in America before returning to back to England. The evening began with a Private VIP pre-Party hosted by Florida Entertainment Group in the Rivoli Room at the Ritz. Across the hallway in the Royal Room was lNYC/YBOR favorite Jerry Gloff performing. Over 1,000 guest packed The Theatre Ballroom. Up on the 25′ x 44? theatrical stage was a very impressive set design. Complete with state of the art lighting, sound and even a huge gargoyle! The opening act was Frank Musik. Energetic Frank had everybody moving to the music. Then it was what everybody came for…. Andy Bell singing and Vince Clarke on keyboards. Andy was looking fantastic! He performed all the old favorites like “A Little Respect,” “Chains of Love” and “Always.” Andy also thrilled the crowd with several of his new songs that will be on the new album, “Tomorrow’s World.” The back up singers were fantastic and Vince was having a great time on the keyboards behind the giant gargoyle. Everybody was having so much fun that nobody wanted the evening to end. Following the concert there was a after party at G.BAR.
