Early that evening, Miami Beach WHSF-pic1Gay Pride honored their Archangels, Angels and Legacy Couples at an event at Neiman Marcus in Bal Harbour. At nighttime, Pop Fever Thursdays at Score got into the Winter Music Conference and featured performances by Guinevere, Ashley Allen, K. Rose, and Alexis Jordan. On Friday, New York Grilled Cheese had a benefit for Florida AIDS Walk with raffles and performances. Later that night Latinos Salud presented their Sweet Candy Launch party, a Florida AIDS Walk fundraiser, which featured lots of cute Latin men, drinks, Hors D’oeuvres,  raffles and a fun time. Afterwards, I headed to the Alibi for the Kwanza Jones performance. She was great and her dancers were yummy. She reminded me of Nicki Minaj, so watch out American Idol, you may have a new judge soon! Saturday night, the Manor featuredWHSF-pic2 the beautiful recording artist Nalaya, who rocked the house. I predict big things for Nayala; not only is she a great performer, but a very nice person too. Sunday featured 2 big events; the first was the annual Florida AIDS Walk and Music Festival which took place on the beach. The headliner for the event was Chaka Khan and lots of people came out to support this great organization and to see Chaka. The second was the 20th annual Pridefest of the Palm Beaches produced by Compass GLCC (was also on Saturday).  The event started with a parade which went directly into the festival which, as usual, was very well attended.
