Last Monday Gone By Dawn Productions presented their annual Miss Lady Boy pageant, which this year was held at the beautiful Mekka Nightclub in downtown Miami. There were 4 contestants, but the winner was very clear as she won by 50 points, Miss Vegas Dion! Congrats to Vegas and Dawn for a very fair pageant and a night of fun! Friday evening I started my night at the Grand Opening of Swinging Richards in Pompano, which was really busy. The men, hmmm, how can I describe them except to say Gorgeous and well endowed….DAMN! Congrats to GM Roman and the entire staff on a really fabulous grand opening weekend! Later that night I went over to Sidelines for their Lady GaGa CD release party and to watch my friend TP Lords perform as well as hear the tunes from DJ Jason Gonzalez. On Saturday I went to Rumors for the My Tropixxx Gear Up 2013 Fashion show, which was a benefit for The Pet Project. I must say Tommy (owner of Tropixxx) sure knows how to pick out sexy models (look at the pic…YUM!) Saturday night Discotekka’s themed event was Traveling to the Future, and that night they also celebrated the birthday of Joe Marcello’s (owner) partner Mike. On Sunday, was the annual Equality Florida Broward Gala this year help at the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty Six. As usual they celebrated their Voice of Equality Award honorees and Nadine Smith (CEO) gave her state of the state address. The fabulous part about this event (go ahead everyone pat yourselves on the back, you deserve it) is attendance went up by over 200 people. I am so happy to be living in a state that cares about our future!
