Bianca Del Rio’s drag career over the past twenty years has been busy and eventful, but nothing could compare to this past year. She was crowned winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race, she earned even more fans across the country and around the world, and she’s visited countries and venues she could only dream of. Now she’s taking her drag comedy show across the country, and South Florida will play host to two nights of the hilarious and scathing humor that Bianca is known for.

Murray and Peter Present the Bianca Del Rio “Rolodex of Hate Tour,” which will be coming to South Florida starting on Saturday, January 24. That night she will be performing two shows at the Colony Theatre South Beach, one at 8 p.m. and one at 11:30 p.m. The next night, Sunday, January 25, she will come to Fort Lauderdale and perform two shows at the Amaturo Theater at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, one at 7 p.m. and one at 10 p.m. Due to overwhelming demand, second showings were added in both cities, so Bianca is expected to draw big crowds here in South Florida.

Bianca Del Rio is the drag and comedy persona of Roy Haylock, who first became “Bianca” nearly twenty years ago in his hometown of New Orleans. Bianca was discovered by New Orleans drag legend Lisa Beaumann, who booked her for many years at the megaclub Oz on Bourbon Street. She earned a loyal following: she was voted best drag performer by Ambush Magazine three years in a row, she was selected to be a grand marshal at Southern Decadence, and she became well-known all across the Gulf Coast states, becoming a fixture at Pensacola’s Memorial Day Weekend for many years. Ten years ago, Bianca moved to New York City, where she became entrenched in the club scene and was welcomed as eagerly as she was in New Orleans by a new group of fans. Her journey on RuPaul’s Drag Race allowed her to be seen and appreciated worldwide.
