Restaurants in Denver, Colorado, where recreational marijuana is legal, are reportedly having a tough time finding staff. The weed business pays $22 an hour with full benefits working in a climate-controlled greenhouse. Working in the kitchen of a restaurant…hot, stressful, a lot less pay and often no benefits. If that isn’t enough to deal with, restaurants are dealing with a 2% decline in alcohol sales because patrons would rather get high than drink, believes Denver restaurateur Bobby Stuckey.
