In Week 4 of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 3, Ru brought out my favorite challenge: Snatch Game. Here is who the girls impersonated:
ChiChi – Maya Angelo
Aja – Crystal Labeija
Kennedy – Phaedra Parks
Ben – Paul Lynde
Shangela – Jennifer Lewis
Trixie – RuPaul
BeBe – Grace Jones
The runway look was Flower Power, and in my opinion everyone did well.
The clear stand outs at Snatch Game were Ben and Shangela with a shout out to Aja (Congrats…as she is doing so much better in All Stars than she did in season 9). The middle of the pack was BeBe, with Kennedy, Trixie and ChiChi clearly at the bottom.
During the Lip Synch for your legacy Ben and Shangela ties (splitting the $10,000), but they each earned a right to send someone home. However, they both had previously chosen ChiChi, so only one girl went home. ChiChi had the most gracious exit of the season and it was a pleasure to sit down and talk with her:
How has your life changed since you were on Drag Race?
It’s amazing—now I am some kind of mini celebrity. I now only have one job instead of three…I am a full time drag queen and I make a great living doing what I love!
What has been some of your favorite cities to visit as a RuPaul Alumni?
Seattle, LA, New York…I really like the big metropolitan cities.
How exciting was it to get called back for All Stars? Did you consider not coming back, and if so what made you come back?
It was exciting to be considered. There was never a doubt in my mind about coming back. Anytime they want me back, I will be there!

How did you prepare differently for all stars than you did the first time you were on the show?
Even though I had a feeling I would get a call to come back, I didn’t prepare at all. After I got the call, I just scrounged up some stuff in my closet and hopped on a plane and went back to L.A. I think that may have been my downfall as I wasn’t prepared as I should have been.
You had the most gracious exit. Where did that come from?
It came from me being in the bottom every week and realizing I had some more work to do., I knew it was my time to go home. I went to All Stars, and did they best so why would I be sad. I was so happy I got the opportunity, and I am using what I have learned for lighter fluid to spark the fire in me to do better.
Now that you have been eliminated, who do you want to win?
Of course I am routing for Kennedy, because it’s time to have a dancing queen win.
What’s Ahead for ChiChi?
Music…possibly putting out a song or 2, and maybe even an album followed by a Grammy.
