Adora: Teddy, con todo el arte que vamos a ver en todas partes durante la semana del arte… vamos a ir a diseño Miami este año, está justo al lado de Miami Art Basel fair en South Beach… tal vez podríamos conseguir algunas cosas bonitas para la casa. Tienen objetos de diseño realmente fabulosos, muebles… Y muchas ideas. Quiero hacer una trasnformación a la casa, ¿vale?
Teddy Behr: ¡Gran idea! No he estado en unos pocos años, porque siempre hay mucha arte para ver; me encantó la última vez que fui. Presentan no sólo lo último en decoración y estilo, pero también estupendos objetos de colección y objetos internacionales de mediados de siglo. Al igual que la Galería Patrick Seguin de París, que se especializa en el diseñador francés de mediados de siglo Jean Prouvé.
Adora: Oh sí, Prouvé es fab. Recuerdo la mesa del ala del avión que vimos unos años atrás…¡espectacular! Pero también quiero ver lo último; como la Galería holandesa Vivid, de Rotterdam.
Teddy Behr: Quiero ver lo que el carpintero del taller Gallery de Londres tiene este año. Son un poco estrafalarios, pero ecológicos también… tal vez voy a conseguir algunas ideas para las cosas que puedo hacer en el garaje.
Adora: Teddy, no hay lugar en el garage ahora mismo; he puesto todas mis pelucas extras allí hasta que se organice el vestuario.
Teddy Behr: Cierto…OK, pero de todos modos, es una gran feria para obtener ideas. ¿No crees?
Adora: Oh sí, me dan todo tipo de ideas para la casa, y para los trajes; especialmente ahora que estamos en el reciclaje. Me gusta la forma en que utilizan cortinas en la galería de apartamentos Erastudio, me encanta la simplicidad. Creo que Adora va a ser minimalista después. ¿Qué te parece Teddy?
Teddy: Me gusta, pero suena como un verdadero desafío. ¿Sería como un personaje teatral japonés, no…pero con maquillaje de Geisha? Quiero ver eso.
Adora: Estoy pensando en Halston, con muebles escandinavos de mediados de siglo o tal vez una mirada de Pierre Cardin con el vinilo y el metal como los muebles supersónicos… ¿Qué te parece?
Teddy: Sí, me gusta… Star Trek y la iluminación fresca. Pero voy a tener que buscar un bolso de hombre, así que puedo usar pantalones ajustados con bolsillos. Pero también me gustaría ver a lo ancho y natural: ramas de árboles, alfombras de pasto, velas… cosas así.
Mmmmmmmm… Puedo revivir mi peluca de jaula y la joyería de corteza de árbol… y obtener un vestido hecho de fibras de coco… ¡sí!

Adora: Teddy, with all the art we’ll be seeing everywhere during Art Week …let’s go to Design Miami this year, It’s right next to Miami Art Basel Fair on South Beach…maybe we could get some nice things for the house…They have really Fabulous Design Objects, furniture…And lots of IDEAS…I want to give the house a make-over…..OK?
Teddy Behr: Great idea: I haven’t been in a few years, because there’s always so much art to see…But I loved it last time I went. They feature not only the latest in decor and style, but super-collectible vintage; international Mid-Century Furniture and Objects. Like the Gallery Patrick Seguin from Paris which specializes in Mid-Century French Designer Jean Prouve.
Adora: Oh yes, Prouve’ is’ fab. I remember the airplane wing table we saw a few years ago…sooooo cool! But I want to see the latest too; like the Dutch Gallery Vivid, from Rotterdam.
Teddy Behr: I want to see what the Carpenter Workshop Gallery from London has this year. They’re really out there but ecological too…maybe I’ll get some ideas for things I can make in the garage.
Adora: Teddy, there’s no room in the garage right now; Ive put all my extra wigs there till you get the dressing room organized.
Teddy Behr: Oh…right….ok, but anyway, it’s a great Fair for ideas. Don’t you think?
Adora: Oh yes, I get all kinds of ideas for the house, and for outfits; especially now that we’re into recycling. I like the way they use drapery at Erastudio Apartment Gallery, I love the simplicity. I think Adora’s going to go Minimalist next. What do you think Teddy?
Teddy: Uh…I like it, but it sounds like a real challenge. Would that be like a Japanese Noh Drama character but with Geisha make-up? I want to see that.
Adora: I’m thinking Halston, with Mid-Century Scandinavian furniture or maybe an early Pierre Cardin look with vinyl and metal Jetsons furnishings…what do you think?
Teddy: Yeah, I like it… Star Trek…and cool lighting…but I’m going to have to look for a man purse, so I can wear tight pants with empty pockets. But I’d like to see baggy and natural too: tree branches, grass rugs, candles…stuff like that.
Adora: Mmmmmmmm…I can revive my birdcage wig and tree bark jewelry…and get a dress made from coconut fibers…yes!
