At this rate, one out of every two countries will have a local Drag Race franchise. This week, World of Wonder announced the next iteration of the ever-growing show with Drag Race Philippines. For those who are keeping track, this is the tenth franchise so far. But in the Philippines, the series is going to have some competition. Currently, in addition to the U.S.-based original, Drag Race has iterations in the U.K., Canada, Holland, Spain, as well as Down Under (that’s Australia and New Zealand.) There’s also an Italian version set to launch, a Thailand version that was once in existence but paused after its second season, and a permutation in Chile called The Switch.
