Pride Fort Lauderdale presents Halloween Extravaganza from 9pm to 2am at DCOTA (Design Center of the Americas – 1855 Griffin Road, Dania Beach). The night will feature a Fetish and Fantasy Costume Contest with cash prizes of $1,000, $500, and $250. After last year’s virtual-only performances, the annual Daniel Lewis Dance Sampler returns to live, in-person events for its 11th year. Celebrating the tenacity and creativity of Florida’s dancers and choreographers, it will showcase a curated group of eight works, featuring some of the best the state has to offer. Named for the Founding Dean of the Dance Department of New World School of the Arts (NWSA), the program of short works and excerpts launches the season of dance. This year, for the first time, the Sampler will be presented in two counties: today at Lake Worth’s Duncan Theatre, and Saturday and Sunday October 30 and 31 at Miami’s NWSA Dance Theater. The Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation (GHOF) will host its 13th annual fundraising banquet to raise awareness of and funds for ocean conservation with an in-person celebration from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Lauderdale Yacht Club, 1725 Southeast 12th Street, in Fort Lauderdale. Attire is island cocktail. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, tickets are limited. Each year, the GHOF honors researchers, anglers, divers and conservationists who have demonstrated a lifetime of appreciation for the world’s natural resources and have worked to instill that appreciation in the next generation. The Pub Wilton Manors presents the Synergy Twins performing live today at 8pm on their main stage and then again tomorrow (Halloween) at 6pm on the rooftop.

The Manor Complex presents “Halloween Kills: He’s Back” starring Festival DJ Alain Jackinsky in the Ballroom. The Pride Center at Equality Park presents their annual Halloween party on the drive: Wicked Manors, with this year’s theme being “Turn Back Time.” The event takes place from 6-11pm, when Wilton Drive is closed to traffic.
