In an art exhibit entitled “Wellness Exhibition:  Fostering Mental and Emotional Health—An Artist’s Journey Through Healing” that runs from today through to Fri., June 16, ArtServe will explore how artists apply various genres and mediums to convey different journeys of well-being, self-love, and healing through their art.  A free, public opening reception is planned from 6pm to 9pm on Friday, April 21.   Admission is free to both the exhibit and reception. ArtServe is located at 1350 E. Sunrise Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale.  Gallery hours are 9am to 6pm Monday through Friday and 10am to 6pm Saturday.

Dan Savage (creator of the Savage Love sex advice column, the popular Savage Lovecast podcast, and the It Gets Better Project) is thrilled to announce that the 18th annual HUMP! Film Festival is coming to O Cinema in Miami (1130 Washington Ave., Miami Beach), today and tomorrow, Saturday, April 15 with 7pm and 9:30pm showings. The HUMP! Film Festival is a showcase of sex-positive short films, all curated by Savage. These dirty movies are almost all created by people who aren’t porn stars but want to be one just for this festival. The films run the gamut of body sizes, shapes, ages, colors, sexualities, genders, kinks, and fetishes. It is a unique celebration of creative sexual expression. Audiences will get to choose their favorite entries in categories such as Best Sex, Best Kink, Best Humor and Best in Show. Online streaming dates are also available through May 28th.
