What could be a better way to celebrate the holidays than a delightful evening of live music, an open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and camaraderie, all while taking in the mesmerizing holiday lights on the water? This and more were offered on the Sights & Lights Evening Cruise by FLoatarama on December 28. It was an upscale 3-hour evening event with scenic views, friends, music, and a great opportunity to support FLoatarama. The event sold out and raised a grand sum of $30,000 for the FLoatarama LGBTQ Youth Fund managed by The Our Fund Foundation and directed by FLoatarama. This was made possible with the help of Sponsors like Hunters Nightclubs Wilton Manors, Sun Dream Yacht Charters, Thomas Gehlbach and Warren Stauffer, AHF Pharmacy, BaxterMartin Advertising, Lawrence Mansell Photography, and DJ Ronnie Minutella. The event featured music by DJ Jay McCracken, Alexander Zenoz’s Jazz trio, the enchanting piano melodies of Sam Fray, and the most flavorful smoked old-fashioned cocktails from Union Kitchen & Bar. Floatarama is an LGBTQ+ social organization that dedicates substantial resources to helping LGBTQ+ students and youth in South Florida.
