Rising star Asher HaVon, from Selma, Alabama, is the favorite to win the US version of The Voice. Known for his soulful pop and R&B covers, HaVon has garnered a large gay fanbase. He performed at Selma LGBTQ+ Pride in 2019 and gained initial fame in 2015, singing for then-President Barack Obama during the 50th anniversary of Selma to Montgomery African-American civil rights marches.
