Get ready for an unforgettable night of music, comedy, and entertainment as The Skivvies, the acclaimed New York-based musical duo, brings their sensational show to Hunters Nightclub at 7pm. The Skivvies, featuring the incredibly talented Lauren Molina and Nick Cearley, are known for their unique and daring performances. With a blend of stripped-down arrangements, witty banter, and plenty of surprises, their shows have become a must-see event in the New York theatre scene. The 28th Inffinito Brazilian Film Festival arrives in Miami today with screenings at O Cinema South Beach, which kicks off the program with the American premiere of Paulo Machline’s “Magal & Magali,” followed by a Q&A with the director and the film’s producer, Joana Mariani. The O Cinema South Beach will be hosting the competitive feature and short film screenings starting September 1. The films will compete for the “Crystal Lens” trophy, which will be awarded to the winners by the audience and the festival’s official jury.  The categories evaluated in the competitive screening will be: Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Actor, and Best Actress. The awards ceremony will be held at the Silverspot Cinema, known for having the largest movie screen in Florida. The venue offers an immersive experience with the screening of the Hors Concours film, “Turn It Up, It’s Rock N’ Roll,” by Tomás Portella. From September 8 to 29, there will be virtual screenings of Brazilian films for all the United States on the streaming platform www.inff.online.

The Manor Complex, in honor of Labor Day Weekend presents “Wurk” starring Celebrity DJ and Rupaul’s Drag race royalty Nina Flowers in the Ballroom along with spectacular production and décor. Wayans is commonly recognized for his role as ‘Marcus Copeland’ in Columbia Pictures’ 2004 hit comedy “White Chicks,” opposite Shawn Wayans, Jamie King and Terry Crews. He also starred alongside Shawn Wayans and Regina Hall in Dimension Films’ horror comedy spoof films “Scary Movie” and “Scary Movie 2.” Additionally, Wayans starred with his brother Shawn Wayans on The WB’s “The Wayans Bros.” which was the highest rated comedy on the network and continues to air in syndication. A 2-time Emmy nominee, heard on the Joe Rogan Experience, a regular on The Adam Carolla Show and fresh off his critically acclaimed comedy special “I Never Thought,” Michael Yo is a comedian, actor and host keeping busy in all of Hollywood’s platforms. In stand up, Michael came up under the wings of Chelsea Handler and Jo Koy and now headlines all over the country. Arts United presents “Provocative Art Show” as part of the Hotspots/Happening Out Art Gallery with Dennis Dean’s September opening reception. This will be a juried art exhibition with cash prizes awarded at 8:30pm and features 69 artworks on display. The reception is from 6-9.
