    Latrice Royale travels and performs all over the world, but calls Sunshine Cathedral Center for the Performing Arts home base as our Artist-in-Residence! If you are a fan of LGBTQ entertainment, then you are probably aware of Latrice Royale. Latrice has been a drag performer for decades and for the last several years has really stepped her – game – up. Latrice voiced an episode of Everyone Still Hates Chris and voiced a character on the streaming animated series Drag Tots. Latrice Royale was a contestant on the fourth season of RuPaul Drag Race-voted Miss Congeniality – and was also on seasons 1 and 4 of RuPaul Drag Race All Stars. Latrice’s films include the short My Baby Daddies, The Bitch Who Stole Christmas, the documentary Gays in Prison, and the comedy Cherry Pop. Latrice starred in the Werq the World tour and has been seen in episodes of AJ & the Queen, Drag Me to Dinner, Celebrity Family Feud, and Holi-Slay Spectacular. Latrice was also in the Hulu series We’re Here. Latrice’s work on that series won a Peabody Award. Latrice is also a recording artist, has appeared in music videos, and is a major theatrical performer, having appeared in the Off-Broadway Mister Act, the London West End production of Death Drop, and the Ogunquit Playhouse’s production of Little Shop of Horrors. Latrice has a powerful and compelling life story to share, is a gifted storyteller and singer, and even has brought the art of flag choreography to the drag stage! Latrice is an ordained minister who has performed several weddings and is married to manager and local musician and director, Christopher Hamblin. At 6’4” -without wigs and heels-Latrice Royale is LARGE, but as a personality, as a performer, and as a positive force in the world, Latrice is larger still.
