This week on The FayWhat?! Show: Carla Antonelli, Spain’s first out trans senator, just served a masterclass in defiance. While passing through London Gatwick Airport, she proudly used the women’s restroom—then went back in to wash her hands, cheekily declaring, “I’m very fond of breaking the rules.” Her video, soundtracked by Lily Allen’s “F*** You,” ended with a bold middle finger and a caption aimed squarely at J.K. Rowling, that said, “F***Rowling .” Antonelli’s protest was sparked by recent UK guidance suggesting trans people be excluded from gendered bathrooms. Rowling had backed the legal case fueling this ruling, but Antonelli wasn’t having it.
