Island City Stage will present the South Florida premiere of At the Wedding by Bryna Turner, opening this season with a mix of humor and heartbreak. The play will run through September 14 at Island City Stage’s Wilton Manors theater. Audiences will follow Carlo as she attends her ex-girlfriend’s wedding—to a man—and finds herself navigating Champagne toasts, painful memories, and life-changing choices.

Each performance will begin with a complimentary Champagne toast, setting the tone for an evening of both laughter and poignancy. The production will be co-produced by Sue Wilder and Russell Vance, with Scott Bennett sponsoring lights and sound, Trevor and Margie Fried supporting set design, and the DC Allen & Ken Flick No Gay Hate Fund at Our Fund Foundation sponsoring talent.

Additional support will come from The Schubert Foundation, The Maval Foundation, and the Broward Cultural Council. Island City Stage is a professional theater committed to sharing stories of universal interest, engaging diverse audiences with entertaining, challenging, and inspiring productions.
