The spotlight will shine on Saturday, November 1, when the Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida (GMCSF) will host its signature fall fundraiser, The Chic & Unique Ball: Step Into Burlesque, at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood. The glamorous evening will begin with a VIP reception featuring performances by GMCSF Artistic Director Gabe Salazar and award-winning singer-songwriter Matt Alber.
Guests will then step onto the red carpet, enjoy cocktails, a three-course dinner, and a spirited live auction hosted by Whitney Dutton. The Chorus will headline the main program with a dazzling performance celebrating artistry and community. The evening will honor The Bears of South Florida with the Douglas Jackson Pew Community Leadership Award and CAN Community Health with the Corporate Crescendo Award. Chaired by Erick Eldridge, the Ball will conclude with a poolside after-party at the iconic Guitar Hotel. GMCSF is the largest gay men’s chorus in the southeastern United States and one of the top ten LGBTQ+ choruses in the country. More details about the fundraiser will be available at Gmcsf.org
