The National LGBTQ Task Force will unveil its newly rebranded annual gala, now titled the “Be You Ball,” on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida. The event will mark the first celebration under its new name and will align with National Coming Out Day, creating an evening of visibility, pride, and community empowerment.
Actress and ballroom icon Dominique Jackson will serve as host. The evening will also spotlight local honoree David Jobin, President and CEO of Our Fund Foundation, who will receive the prestigious Eddy McIntyre Community Service Award in recognition of his dedication to strengthening South Florida’s LGBTQ+ community. The Be You Ball will gather supporters, leaders, and allies to celebrate authenticity while raising funds for the Task Force’s national advocacy and local initiatives.
The National LGBTQ Task Force builds power, takes action, and creates change to achieve freedom, justice, and equity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people. It organizes people and money in pursuit of liberation for all. For more details about the gala, visit TheTaskForce.org.
