The 17th Annual OUTshine LGBTQ+ Film Festival will take place from October 16 to November 2, celebrating queer storytelling and resilience across Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and online. The festival will open with Blue Moon starring Ethan Hawke at Savor Cinema, Fort Lauderdale, followed by a lively afterparty at Masa & More. Over the next two weeks, OUTshine will host spotlight screenings, special events, and premieres from more than 25 countries, including The Captive at Regal Dania Pointe and Jimpa starring John Lithgow for the closing night at Silverspot Miami.
With 55+ films, afterparties, and its signature Cocktails & Cinema™ series, OUTshine will unite audiences to laugh, cry, and celebrate diversity. Even as rainbow crosswalks fade, this festival will shine as a vibrant reminder that the LGBTQ+ spirit cannot be erased.
