The film Pillion made its debut at Cannes, and will be released in general theaters at the end of the year. It’s a romantic comedy-drama starring Alexander Skarsgård as Ray, a dominant leather man, who starts a BDSM relationship with Colin (played by Harry Melling). Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears appears as Kevin, a member of Ray’s BDSM biker gang. In a recent interview, Shears said of his character:
“I play a sub bottom boy who’s in a long-term relationship. I’m sort of in the scene that the movie takes place in, and I’ve been around for a lot longer than Harry [Melling’s] character. So there’s a little bit of rivalry, a little bit of jealousy.”
