At a No Kings rally in Alabama, 61-year-old Jeana Renea Gamble made quite the statement — and then, quite the scene. Dressed in a giant inflatable costume shaped like, well, male anatomy, and waving a “No dickk-tator” sign, Gamble quickly became the talk of Fairhope. Police, however, weren’t laughing. They arrested her for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, calling her outfit “obscene.” But civil rights advocates say it’s classic political speech — not indecency. After all, what’s more American than protesting with flair, flags, and a little inflatable freedom? Whether it’s art or activism— one thing’s for sure: everyone’s watching.
