Police are investigating Monday’s deadly shooting at the Dennis M. Lynch Arena in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Authorities identified the shooter as Roberta Esposito, a transgender woman. Three people died, including Esposito, who police say died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The other two victims are Rhonda Dorgan, 52, and her son Aidan Dorgan, 23. Three people remain critically injured.

Officials describe the attack as targeted and domestic in nature. Police say they are still working to establish a motive and are reviewing Esposito’s social media activity. Some online photos show Esposito with a bicep tattoo resembling the Nazi Totenkopf death’s-head and lightning bolts like the letters “SS.” Separately, a Twitter account connected to the shooter appears to show far-right and conspiratorial content. Law enforcement has not publicly confirmed anything about it.
