GayDays has confirmed its full return for 2026, announcing that the event will take place on June 4 through June 8 after a brief pause earlier this month. Organizers say the updated format will center activities within a single host hotel reserved exclusively for GayDays attendees. All guest rooms, event spaces, and amenities will be dedicated to participants throughout the weekend. Josh Duke, co-owner of GayDays said, “We took the time to make the right decision for our community and for the future of GayDays…This year, the entire property will be dedicated to our guests, creating the immersive, adult-focused experience people have been asking for.”
Programming will proceed as planned, including daytime pool parties, nightly entertainment, the GayDays Vendor Expo, Mr. GayDays and Miss GayDays pageants, VIP experiences, the Red Room late-night environment, and specialty adult-themed events. Charles Cantrell, co-owner and event partner of GayDays shared, “Our goal was to bring the community back together under one roof…This structure allows guests to stay where the action is and enjoy a welcoming space created specifically for them.”
Organizers also confirmed that Red Shirt Day at Walt Disney World will continue on Saturday. The community, however, notes that the new hotel has just over four hundred rooms, about one-third the size of Doubletree Orlando, the former home of Gay Days. Though organizers emphasized on-property events, similar South Florida events like One Magical Weekend will be hosting their significant events off-property. Founded in the early 1990s, GayDays remains one of Central Florida’s longest-running LGBTQ+ gatherings. Event details are available at GayDays.com.
