Right-wing commentator and former Fox News host Megyn Kelly launched a homophobic tirade against former U.S. soccer star Megan Rapinoe after Rapinoe criticized the USA Men’s Hockey team for visiting the White House and “oggling” the president. Kelly said, “The nerve of this extremely homely woman to call these guys clowns… She’s like a rabid, angry lesbian.” She also accused Rapinoe of hypocrisy for visiting the White House after the 2015 World Cup under Barack Obama. Kelly said, “It’s only controversial when it’s President Trump, you see. She is jealous that they are in the spotlight and she’s not.”
