A24 has unveiled the cast for its upcoming live-action adaptation of Elden Ring, led by Heartstopper star Kit Connor. The fantasy game, co-written by George R.R. Martin, became a global hit after its 2022 release, earning multiple BAFTA Game Awards and selling over 30 million copies. The film will be written and directed by Alex Garland and is set for release in March 2028. Confirmed cast members include Paddington’s Ben Whishaw, Beef star Cailee Spaeny, Strike’s Tom Burke, and Bottoms actor Havana Rose Liu, alongside Jonathan Pryce, Sonoya Mizuno, Nick Offerman, and Emma Laird. The story follows a Tarnished warrior seeking to restore the shattered Elden Ring in the Lands Between. Plot details and character roles remain undisclosed.
