Despite that, the situation deteriorated within weeks. She described the experience as deeply upsetting and said it left her feeling discouraged about dating. Morris also noted that some friends within the lesbian community told her such experiences can be common early on. However, following the experience, Morris indicated she is currently choosing to focus on being alone.
