Bushwick Drag Parody of MAGA Figures Draws Over 1K Audience And Raises $25K for ACLU

A crowd of more than 1,000 gathered at 3 Dollar Bill in Bushwick on Thursday, April 16, for a right-wing parody drag show titled “I Want You for Turning Point U.S. Gay NYC.”
The night featured a satirical performance by drag artist Lauren Banall, who reprised a viral impersonation of Erika Kirk, widow of slain influencer Charlie Kirk. The event blended political satire with nightlife entertainment, as gogo dancers in U.S. flag outfits performed and 10 drag artists portrayed prominent MAGA figures, including Kristi Noem and Rudy Giuliani. Organizers reported the show raised more than $250K for the American Civil Liberties Union.
