On May 4th, we reported about Drag Race Star Katya being hospitalized with a mystery illness for which she had to postpone a show with co-star and friend Trixie Mattel. Katya has finally revealed the health details.
She shared the update on Twitter, explaining that doctors discovered a blockage in her small intestine that required surgery to remove and reconnect parts of her intestines. Katya said she spent 10 days in the hospital with a nasogastric tube and was unable to eat or drink during what she described as “absolute hell on earth.”
She also informed that she is now back home and recovering. Fans were quick to show their support, and the fellow Drag Race stars, including Michelle Visage, Shea Couleé, and Ross Mathews, also shared messages of support online.
