The comments came as Talarico campaigns against Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton in the upcoming Senate race, where recent momentum has drawn increased attacks from Republicans. White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller appeared on Fox News with host Jesse Watters recently and claimed that Talarico is “clearly transitioning into a female.” He did not stop there. He added, “When Talarico goes in for a blood test, when he gets a physical, blood doesn’t come out; instead, soy milk comes out…This man has less testosterone than Jasmine Crockett. It is a mind-boggling choice.”
All this happened while Watters was having a good laugh about it. Miller also joked that Talarico “doesn’t belong in the Senate but in a cabaret show,” before contrasting him with what he described as a real conservative, patriotic, god-fearing Texan. The remarks follow days of attacks from Republicans falsely labeling Talarico as transgender and questioning his sexuality. Earlier last week, Miller referred to him as the Democrats’ “first transgender Senate candidate.”
