WALMART AIN’T NO. 1 NO MORE
Billionaire investor Warren Buffett, who has been a major investor in Walmart since 2005, just sold almost all of stock in the retailer for $900 million. In a sign of these digital times, Walmart has been surpassed by online giant Amazon as the world’s largest web retailer. Walmart’s online sales were $13.7 billion in 2015, while Amazon’s was $107 billion.
