As similar as Elijah and Milo Peters appear, in person they are even more eerily similar. You can’t tell them apart. The Peters twins are like a single person in two bodies. Each is a mirror image of the other. When you see them, you have to smile because from what we are told being around them is quite an experience.
Keep The Music Playin’ Productions, fresh from a huge success in Los Angeles with its party “Studio One, One More Time,” is proud to announce a benefit this New Year’s Day in Fort Lauderdale for Sunserve starring world renowned superstar DJ Robbie Leslie as he spins at “2010, A Disco Odyssey” from 8 am to 6 pm at Club Purgatory on State Road 84.
Leslie is renowned for spinning his magic at special circuit parties – extravagant theme parties and benefits created for one night in anything from abandoned warehouses to famous museums. Events of note include the Saint-at-Large White parties, the White Party at Vizcaya in Miami, the Red Party in Columbus, A.P.L.A. Garden Parties in Griffith Park and at Universal Studios Backlot, Spring to Life at the Post Office Pavilion in Washington D.C., All That Glitters in San Diego, the Hotlanta River Expo in Atlanta, Pride at the Pier in Ft. Lauderdale, Fantasy Fest in Key West, Pride Pier Dance in New York, Winter Party in Miami, Saturday Night Fever in New Orleans, Remember the Party in San Francisco, Souvenirs in New York and a wide variety of major events in venues such as the American Museum of Natural History in New York, the Mayan Theatre in Los Angeles and the Civic Center and Galleria in San Francisco.
When choosing a beneficiary for this special event, Marvin Howell of Keep The Music Playin’ was particularly drawn to Sunserve who among many of the great tasks they perform do a tremendous job providing care and support to LGBT seniors in need and homeless youth. He also wanted to find a beneficiary where the money actually gets to those in need and for this reason got together with Andy Zalman at Sunserve who was eager to help. Sunserves Youth Program is the only youth group serving LGBTQ youth in Broward County.
Please go out New Year’s Day for a trip through the Disco Galaxy while at the same time supporting a very worthwhile cause and enjoy the continental breakfast.
